Write the Book You Want To Read

  I have been a little slack on the blogging lately, but I am here to resume the series on How to Steal Like an  Artist and other things.....
     This weeks point is "Write the Book You Want To Read". Simply put in artist terminology, "The best way to find the work you should be doing is to think about the work you want to see done that isn’t being done, and then go do it."

    People ask me how I came up with the idea for my work, and really, I saw a bunch of stuff out there that I really liked and was influenced by, J prichard, Alice Ballard, etc.... but I wanted to play with texture and allow myself the freedom to explore while also creating something I thought would be really cool, and so was born, the textured tile collection.
